Our farm accommodation is ideally placed for enjoying outdoor activities, cycling along our country roads, walking the fields and lanes, discovering the history of the market towns. Enjoy learning to sail or fishing for trout at Llandegfedd Reservoir just 3 miles away.
Nearby Caerleon, has a wealth of Roman remains which includes a fine Amphitheatre, barracks, fortress baths and the National Roman Legion Museum. Summer dig in Caerleon uncovering the 'Lost City of the Legion' the archaeologists have finished their discoveries for this year, but there is still plenty to enjoy when on a visit to Caerleon.
The Old market town of Usk is just 6 miles away, set along side a river of the same name, it has its own small Castle dating back to 1170, the Rural life museum shows life as it used to be in the countryside. Tredegar House Newport is one of the best examples of a 17th century, Charles II, mansion in Britain, set in a 90 acre park, there is plenty to discover about life above and below stairs. House and Gardens open Easter to end September, closed Mondays & Tuesdays.

There are many attractions to be found within a half hour drive, the Sugar Loaf and Skirrid mountains to walk up near Abergavenny, also it holds a Food Festival in September 17 -18, the World Heritage site at Blaenavon
